A much-needed workforce housing community in the financial/governmental center of Orange County, these apartments are adjacent to a public school and a quarter mile from the OCTA bus stop. The developer wanted the modern building’s exterior colors to be reflected — with a fresher look — on the interiors. Our approach was nature-inspired, modern mid-century, with a light and bright color scheme, plus vivid accents. The common area space includes a community room, kitchen, computer work area, management offices and an open mail/package area, all located on the main level with a strong street presence. Amenities include a tot lot and children’s play area, outdoor seating, barbeques and plenty of space to enjoy the California weather with the family.
