Founder & President
Founder & President
As Founder and President of JAG Interiors, Inc., Jamie General leads the firm’s strategic planning, design vision, and overall direction, including pursuing new business opportunities. Jamie founded JAG Interiors in 2007 with a clear purpose: to create thoughtfully designed, accessible spaces that support human growth and strengthen communities. For more than 25 years, she and her team have collaborated with developers, owners, project managers, architects and design partners on projects from conception through completion — including design development, construction documentation, FF&E, procurement and installation.
Jamie provides design direction and strategic oversight across all JAG Interiors projects, ensuring each reflects the firm’s commitment to creative, functional and financially responsible design. Known for her collaborative approach and long-standing client relationships, she has led a national portfolio of more than 1,000 completed developments. Her design perspective is informed by global travel, lived experience, and a belief that meaningful spaces are rooted in both beauty and purpose.
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Jamie is a Certified Interior Designer and has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine as the leader of one of the “Hottest Small Businesses in America.” She has been an active member of the Los Angeles/Ventura Chapter of the Building Industry Association (BIA) since 1996, serving on the Sales & Marketing Committee and as Chair of the Women’s Council, where she was honored as Volunteer of the Year. During her tenure, she led fundraising efforts exceeding $450,000 for women’s shelters throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Jamie is also an active member of the Southern California Association of Nonprofit Housing (SCANPH) and Housing California, where she regularly provides complimentary lunch-and-learn workshops and participates in industry events focused on advancing affordable and workforce housing.
